What Is a Drum Truck?

A drum truck is a four-wheeled trolley that allows you to pick up, move and store drums of various sizes. You can pick up a 30-gallon drum or an 85-gallon salvage drum using the same trolley. A drum truck carries the full weight of the drum during transport. All you need to do is push.

How to Use a Drum Truck

Using a drum truck is easy. Turn the truck upright so the four wheels are off the floor. Roll the truck over to the drum, then raise the hook on the back of the truck. Lower the hook onto the rim of the drum to secure it in place.

Tilt the trolley back so that the weight of the drum rests on the frame. The wheels should be on the floor. Then, push the trolley to where you need to go.
