Custom Mezzanine

Goals:

To increase the manufacturing area by lifting large compressors off of the shop floor

Allow for additional revenue by increasing the manufacturing space

Add additional work/storage space for repairs.

Solution:

One mezzanine removes the compressors from the shop floor thereby increasing the manufacturing space.

And a second mezzanine divides the vertical space in two, creating a second level for storage and repair.

Result: 

The first custom mezzanine raised to 12′ with 200 lbs per square foot capacity would provide the solution needed for the compressors.

And the second mezzanine was a tight fit, using existing stairs for access.  This 450 sq ft area creates a repair area for small motors and pumps.  It will soon be accessorized with shelving and work stations.

Additionally guardrails where added to prevent collisions between pedestrians and vehicles in the plant. Installation crew did an awesome job with this project!
