Pallet Flow Racking Systems

Pallet flow racking systems are designed around the principle of organizing products or space by depth rather than width, and pallets are easily accessible by forklift. This depth arrangement significantly reduces aisle space and increases storage density. Flow racking systems condense pallets into single-SKU lanes, pushing them from one side of the racking system to the other using a network of wheels and gravitational pull.  Pallet Flow systems create First in First out (FIFO) usability where the first pallet loaded is the first pallet unloaded at the other end of the system, this is best suited for dated goods. Pallet Flow makes the most sense in situations where you have high volumes of inventory but with limited SKU’s. 

Each bay of pallet flow racking can hold up to six pallets, with each system designed to suit the specific pallet type, size and weight. The rails are slightly angled toward the load/unload side of the pallet rack in order to take advantage of gravity, saving enormous amounts of energy for moving heavy pallets. Pallet flow racking is the best FIFO system for a small space, thus making it a very cost-effective method of pallet rack storage.
